Summertime is well and truly here, yay! Lighter evenings and warm sunny days (we hope) mean we can spend more time enjoying the great outdoors. It also means we need some tasty thirst quenchers to keep us refreshed and hydrated. Never fear, for we have been busy experimenting again in the Creativi-tea Kitchen! Here are three delicious iced tea recipes to get you through the summer.
Clipper Organic Peppermint Fizz
We’ll be serving up this extra special fizz at The Mindful Drinking Festival at Spitalfields Market London on 20th July. Come down and join us if you’re in the area!
- 1 teabag Clipper Organic Peppermint Infusion
- 100ml of Xachoh non alcoholic spirit
- 2 tsp Date Syrup
- Squeeze of Lime
- 100ml Tonic Water
- Mint Leaves to garnish
Brew the peppermint infusion in 200ml of water, leaving the teabag in until cooled. Brew over night for deeper intensity. Shake the infusion, Xachoh, Date Syrup, Lime and ice in a cocktail shaker. Pour into two martini glasses, garnish with mint leaves and top up with 50ml tonic water per glass.
On those glorious sun soaked days, there’s nothing better than an exotic fruity iced tea to quench your thirst.
- 1 teabag Ahmad Tea Mango & Lychee Souffle Dessert Green Tea
- 60ml Pineapple Juice
- 15mlPomegranate Juice
- 15ml Lemon Juice
- 15ml Syrup
Brew tea with 150ml just off the boil water for 5 minutes and leave to cool. Stir in lemon juice, pineapple juice, pomegranate juice and syrup. Add ice and cut strawberries, and enjoy!
Reserve this one for a warm evening as the sun sets on the day. It’s calming, soothing and refreshing.
- 1 teabag Yogi Tea Peaceful Moment (Rooibos with lavender oil and lemon balm)
- 30ml Pimento drink
- 30ml Apple juice
- 10ml Lemon juice
- 30ml Sparkling water
Brew tea with 150ml freshly boiled water for 5 minutes and leave to cool. Stir in apple juice, lemon juice and Pimento. Add ice and top up with sparkling water, and enjoy!
