Easter, a time for sharing a time for caring and we at National Tea Day say Easter is also  a time for pairing!

We’ve been trying  our favourite teas and pairing them with your favourite Easter Tea-reats. Why not try them out with your loved ones this Easter weekend and let us know what your favourites are. However do not fear if you don’t get round to it over the holidays, they’ll be all of these delights and many more pairings for you to try at FesTeaVal 2018 at Chiswick House and Gardens.

Organic Masala Chai and Hot Cross Bun

A classic combination with a twist, this sweet and spicy pairing is just what you need to spice up your Easter. The sticky sweetness of the raisins in the hot cross buns are contrasted with the spicy peppercorn, aromatic cinnamon and cardamom flavours of the Hope & Glory Organic Masala Chai. A perfectly balanced pairing with character and a kick.

Organic Rooibos with Madagascan Vanilla paired with Raisin & hazelnut Chocolate biscuits

A chocola-tea Easter combination to indulge the palate. The robust and earthy character of the Tea Makers of London Organic Rooibos helps enhance the nuttiness of the hazelnut and dark chocolate whilst the aromatic Madagascan vanilla notes in the tea help intensify the sweetness of the raisins in the Elizabeth Shaw Raisin & Hazelnut Biscuit.

Mint Rose with Roast Lamb, Lemon, Rosemary & Garlic

The Chash Fine Tea Co Mint Tea paired with Lamb provides a traditional Easter classic. The floral notes of the rose then lift the herby tones of the rosemary for a delicious combination. The two types of mint in the tea intensify the natural sweetness of the lamb and garlic creating a perfectly balanced sensation on the palate.

FesTeaVal will offer tea pairing masterclasses where you will be able to try these classic combinations and many more. Enjoy Luxury Pairings by CHASH The Fine Tea Co, the Chocola-tea Parlour courtesy of Elizabeth Shaw and an Indian Inspired Afternoon Tea by The Hope & Glory.
